Remnants -- Blonde Joke

"Hey," Loz whispered, poking Kadaj on the shoulder. The youngest brother turned to face the eldest, raising an eyebrow. "Kadaj. I have a joke."

"What is it?" he snapped.

"How do you kill Yazoo?" Loz giggled. Yazoo snapped his head around towards them, looking offended even before he knew where the conversation was going. .

Kadaj sighed, turning off the engine of his bike. Whatever the answer to this question was, it would be a while before they got going again. "I don't know Loz. How?"

"Put spiked shoulder pads on him and ask him a question!" Loz said gleefully. Imitating Yazoo, he cocked his head exaggeratedly to both sides. The middle brother's eyes narrowed. He turned off his own engine, snatching up the Velvet Nightmare and swinging his leg over the seat of his bike.

"C'mere, Loz."

"What? Why?"

"Just come here."

"No!"

Kadaj sighed, listening to the scuffle behind him. There were a series of scuffings, the sound of boots scraping against earth, then three solid, metallic thumps. Yazoo returned, placing the gunblade back in its holster and revving up the engine again.

"Guns... don't... need to shoot you... to hurt..." Loz whined, rubbing his head as he returned as well.

"You shouldn't make fun of me, then," Yazoo said simply, swerving around and riding in the opposite direction. Kadaj soon followed, stirring up dust behind his wheels. Loz sat there for a while, continuing to rub his head and the three goose eggs that were forming there.

"...That hurt."
